Seoul / Korea 2007

As in 2006, Vincero Arts Management, a South Korean organizer, invited the Johann Strauss Orchestra Frankfurt to a guest performance to Seoul from April 14th to April 23rd, 2007. Being conducted by Günther Gräf the orchestra gave three operetta concerts accompanying the soprano superstar Sumi Jo ("Voice from Heaven") and Volker Bengl who came along from the State Theater at the Gaertnerplatz in Munich. The Uijeongbu Arts Center und the Sejong Performing Arts Center having been sold out about 7.000 listeners celebrated the singers and the orchestra with standing ovations.
